We are a local, family-owned company specializing in artistic and creative portraiture,

Event photography - Your photographer will photograph the details, action, and emotions of your special event, from children's birthdays to graduation parties, corporate parties and events, proms, formals, and any other other special event that gathers friends, family, and associates. Your photographer will discreetly roam your event capturing candid images that will serve as the perfect keepsake for your event. Have special photographic requests? No problem. Just ask! You spent a lot of time, money, and effort planning the perfect party! Trust your professional photographer to capture the event in photographs. You relax and enjoy yourself!

Graduation photography - Conroe Candids will provide complete coverage of the ceremony, as well as posed portraits of graduates with their families.

Formal Portraits: Present your guests with formal portraits created at your event! We will set up a portrait area at your event and shoot a posed portrait of each guest. Ideal for corporate events. You will receive a CD with all of the images, featuring your corporate name and logo on each, if requested. You can print and present as a gift to your guests.

FEE STRUCTURE

An hourly fee includes the photographer's time at your event, minimal retouching/editing after the event, and a CD with the digital files of your images with unlimited reproduction rights. No prints are included with your fee.
Fees: Most events: $250/hour. Non-profit rate: $150/hour. 2 hour minimum.

Additional Services:

Fundraising photography - Set up multiple mini portrait sessions at your event for your guests. Families and individuals pay a small session fee directly to your organization - you will keep 100% of this fee. Conroe Candids will shoot 2-3 poses for each mini session. Guests will be able to view the images online and purchase prints and digital files directly from Conroe Candids.  Other than the session fee - of which you keep 100%, you will not need to collect money, take orders, track down proofs, or provide any other administrative support. You will need to provide a location for the sessions and promote the event to your guests. This program is available to non-profit organizations only.

Preschool / Daycare Photography - Conroe Candids will come to your school and photograph your students. Previews will be posted online for parents to view and order. Print packages will be delivered directly to the parents. You do not have to do anything except provide the location and shepherd the children to the photographer. Click here for more details.

Variety & Flexibility

Conroe Candids provides a variety of portrait programs for your school, including Fall and Spring Portrait Days and special Family Portrait fundraising events. Outdoor portraits are available, as well as a choice of contemporary or classic backgrounds. (No cheesy backgrounds – no fake, outdoors backgrounds.) Our specialty is using natural lighting for a beautiful, soft look, although flash lighting can also be used when necessary. Traditional head and shoulders posing is available, as well as fun and contemporary, horizontal cropping. Parents may also choose color or black & white for their portraits, or even one of our unique, artistic enhancements. ALL images include light retouching and enhancements for superior quality!

Easy Proofing & Ordering

We provide you and your families with choice and flexibility. For mini portrait sessions, there are no prepaid packages required. Unless otherwise requested, all of our proofing is done online. We provide a minimum of three images and two different poses to choose from. So, parents have a choice and only purchase those images that they love!

Online proofing also allows grandparents and other family members to view and order their own portraits. Families can order directly online, telephone with their order, or mail in a paper order directly to Conroe Candids. All ordering must be completed within two weeks. This is the only way that we can stay efficient and keep pricing low for you. Payments can be made directly to the photographer by credit card, check, or cash!

What does this mean for you? No hassles!

We don’t ask you to collect any money, take any orders, or track down any proofs. All we need from you is a list of the students photographed and someone to shepherd the children from their classroom to the camera area and back again. You will also need to promote the portrait day to your families, but we will provide everything that you need for that, too!

Your families will love the variety and quality, and you will love not hearing complaints about bad school pictures. Portraits are usually ready for delivery within four weeks. Conroe Candids can deliver portraits directly to your families, or to the school for pickup, saving on shipping costs.

Conroe Candid’s Preschool/Daycare Portrait Programs

Fall Portraits – Individual Portraits using an outdoor setting or one of our backdrops.

Spring Portraits – Individual Portraits using an outdoor setting or one of our backdrops. A fun addition is Kindergarten Graduation Portraits, complete with cap ‘n gown!

Group/Class Portraits – A great alternative to the traditional group portrait is a Composite Portrait. Conroe Candids creates a composite using one portrait from each child in a class or group. The composite is available in 5x7 or 8x10. It can be provided with any portrait program and families can add one to any order.

Family Portrait Special – Bring the whole family for portraits using an outdoor setting or one of our backdrops. Sessions can be scheduled “after hours” for working families. This is a great option for holiday portraits and fits perfectly with commission pricing. Holiday cards are also available to families, as well as other fun products.
